Katelyn is trauma-informed, LGBTQIA+ competent/affirming, and a culturally competent therapist. She works with individuals aged 12 and up, families, and couples. She enjoys working with clients to help them connect to their present-moment experience and explore their values in order to discover what they need to create a life that is meaningful and fulfilling for them. Her therapeutic approach is individually tailored to her clients’ needs and interests, and may utilize Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Collaborative Problem Solving, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) techniques, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) skills, mindfulness, and creative interventions such as writing and art therapy activities.

She’s spent the past several years doing clinical work in the community with high-risk adolescents, adults, and families, and has been intensively trained in Functional Family Therapy
