- Suicide Prevention Education to over 3,600 teens.
- Companionship to 149 seniors through the Senior Visitors program.
- Mental Wellness, Survivors of Suicide Loss and Teen Support Groups.
- Mental health referrals to over 3990 people through our Helpline.
- Advocacy for those with mental health issues at the local and state level.

Event Details
What: 2025 Walk for Mental Wellness
Date: Saturday, May 3th, 2025
Time: 9:00 – 12:00 pm
Location: Maury Park, Downtown Fredericksburg (Corner of Kenmore Ave and William St.)
Schedule:
9:00 AM — Check-in and day-of registration opens
9:45 AM — Warm-up
10:00 AM — Walk begins, 1 and 3 mile routes through downtown Fredericksburg
12:00 PM — Wrap-up; Event ends
What To Expect
We’re walking, rain or shine! There may be rain on Saturday. We recommend you bring a poncho or jacket, just in case. Expect the temps to be in the upper 50s to low 60s (don’t worry, we’ll be performing a warm-up before we head out on the walk!).
Check-in and registration opens at 9 am. The Walk begins at 10 am. There are 1-mile and 3-mile routes around downtown Fredericksburg. There will be signs posted on where to turn, as well as volunteers on the walk route to cheer you on and guide you in the right direction!
There will be refreshments after the Walk. On your return to Maury Park, we will be providing free snacks and water.
Stick around for fun activities! Stay and play! Enjoy live music, team photographs, corn hole, face painting, fresh popcorn and cotton candy, and more!
Bring your furbaby! Dogs are totally welcome to join you on the Walk – for free of course! We will have watering stations for the pups that join us. Please remember to be courteous and keep your dog leashed and pick up after any mess left behind.
