Join us for the 5th annual Walk to raise awareness that mental health is fundamental to everyone's overall health and to challenge the stigma that has surrounded mental health for decades that oftentimes prevents people from seeking the help they need. Walk to celebrate the life of people you know who face mental health challenges or to remember loves ones lost to this devastating illness.

It is a family day in the park with fun events for the whole family - like moon bounce, face painting, free food, door prizes and a silent auction that you won't believe - works by local artists, gifts baskets from local merchants and weekend get-aways.

Come listen to Live Music by the 2nd Chanz Band  Celebrate cinco de mayo - a special costume contest for our paws friends with awards and prizes.

Joann Coffey of Colonial Beach will be sketching charcoal portraits for a $5 donation to MHAF. She is an accomplished, award winning portrait artist and her artwork is in many private collections. She is a member of the Colonial Beach Art Guild and the Fredericksburg Center for Creative Arts.

Carrol Morgan, a retired public school art teacher, will do quick ink drawn caricature portraits for a $5 donation to MHAF. Carrol is the current Curator at the Fredericksburg Center for Creative Arts, Chair of the King George Biennial Art Show, and a member of the North Windsor Artists and Colonial Beach Art Guild.
