Coming Soon!!  Web-based Service

An online mental health referral service with multiple search options is currently being constructed that will allow identification of licensed practitioners in private practice to meet ones specific needs and insurance coverage. Once funding is secured, it will be hosted on MHAFs website  Please visit our website often to learn when it is online. If you wish to have your mental health organization and services included, please send an email to or call MHAF at 371-2704.

This new service was initiated by MHAF through a partnership with University of Mary Washington Department of Computer Science and with development input from members of the Mental Health Task Force convened by the United Way Community Needs Assessment Steering Committee.

A special thanks to Zachary McGonigal and Dr. Ernest Ackermann, professor in the Department of Computer Science at the University of Mary Washington,  for program development and commitment to the project.

It is our hope that children and adults will find the support they need within our community by using this service. It is also for school counselors, physicians, case managers and anyone who wants to find mental health services in the greater Fredericksburg area.
